• KEEP YOUR WATER CLEANER - Plumbs into a 3/4-inch cold water main to filter the whole house, or under a sink with reducing adapters. Choose the cartridge and this one housing handles sediment, rust, or chlorine taste and odor.
• PRESS THE BUTTON, THEN OPEN IT - The relief button on the cap vents pressure trapped in the housing before you unscrew the sump, so cartridge changes stay dry and take far less effort than wrestling a pressurized sump.
• RADIAL O-RING MAKES A WATERTIGHT SEAL - The improved radial O-ring design seats in the groove above the threads and the cap meets a hard stop for a full-threaded assembly. Lubricate the O-ring with silicone and tighten by hand; do not overtighten.
• FITS ALL 10-INCH STANDARD CARTRIDGES - Accepts any 10-inch by 2.5-inch standard cartridge and supports the full Pentek range, from P5 and S1 sediment to GAC-10 and CBC-10 drinking water carbon. It also retrofits into existing brackets.
• HOUSING ONLY, ACCESSORIES SEPARATE - The cap is drilled for bracket mounting hardware, but the mounting bracket, the SW-1B wrench and the cartridge are all sold separately. Replace the cartridge when flow or water quality falls off.
