A bed of granular activated carbon (GAC) is sealed between a 70-micron porous polyethylene outer shell and a spun polypropylene core, with polypropylene endcaps and Buna-N gaskets. Sold as a Pack of 2.
Radial flow delivers the benefits of granular activated carbon with low pressure drop, just 0.90 psi at 4 gpm, while significantly reducing the carbon fines released by standard cartridges. Chlorine taste and odor reduction is rated at more than 100,000 gallons at 4 gpm, and the cartridge is rated from 40 to 125 degrees F, for point-of-entry and high flow rate use.
