The Pentair Pentek RFFE20-BB is a 20-inch Big Blue whole-house radial flow cartridge that reduces dissolved iron from your water, greatly improving taste. It cuts up to 3 ppm of dissolved iron and the metallic taste iron causes, for cleaner, fresher water at every tap.
By reducing iron, it helps reduce the orange and brown stains iron leaves in sinks, toilets, tubs, and fixtures, and lowers the chance of iron-related damage to pipes and water heaters. It adds no harmful chemicals to the water, so it stays safe for drinking. For best results, install it after a sediment pre-filter and ahead of a carbon post-filter.
Designed for the 20-inch Big Blue housing, it measures 20" x 4.5" and installs on the main cold water line after the pressure tank or water meter.
