• GEN2 ALFA1 GI Stainless Steel Canteen & Kidney Style Cup are designed and manufactured to commercial and military specifications as applicable.
• GEN2 ALFA1 GI Stainless Steel Canteen vessel is manufactured with custom designed deep draw tools for lower half and upper half chambers using stainless steel, type 304 FDA Grade materials. Lower and upper chambers are trimmed and assembled by using high pressure rollers to fuse the materials together to complete the canteen body manufacturing processes. Each canteen vessel is 100% leak tested on the production line in accordance with Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP).
• Neck threads are rolled with a custom thread forming die tools to mate with our custom designed heavy-duty cap. Final GEN2 ALFA1 GI Stainless Steel Canteen Vessel is electro polished for long life cycle and to deliver healthy fresh water for many years of service.
• Heavy duty cap with twelve (12) grip ridges is manufactured with proven diecasting process, CNC machined, and electro polished in accordance with USFDA medical grade equipment requirements.
• Heavy duty Stainless Steel, Type 304 is used to attach to the canteen body and retained to the cap with M4-0.7x8mm Stainless Steel, Type 18-8 MIL Screw.
• High quality FDA Grade, Stainless Steel 18-8 AMS QQ-763 or 304 AMS 5639 is used in the cap diecasting processes.
• USFDA Grade Silicone Gasket is manufactured with a custom cutting die to shore hardness of A50 standards for safe and long-life cycle.
• Military specifications, MIL-STD-105, MIL-STD-130, MIL-STD-810, and other standards are used only as guidelines.
