The Pentair Pentek LR-1500 is a complete under-sink lead filtration system that reduces lead by up to 99.7 percent along with chlorine taste and odor, giving you cleaner, better-tasting drinking water. At its heart is a proprietary Fibredyne carbon block cartridge with a 0.5 micron rating that delivers a high flow rate with low pressure drop. Full-flow technology means the system connects to your existing cold-water line with no separate faucet required. The LR-1500 is Tested and Certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and 53 and CSA Standard B483.1 for the reduction of the claims specified on its performance data sheet. The 10-inch Standard housing is made of polypropylene, measures 14.12" H x 5.25" W, uses a 3/8 inch quick-connect inlet, and operates at feed pressures of 40 to 125 psi and water temperatures of 40 to 100 degrees F at a flow rate up to 2.5 gpm. Everything you need is in the box: the housing with an integrated mounting bracket cap, a 10-inch cartridge, a wrench, an installation kit, and an installation and operation manual. Each cartridge is rated for 1,500 gallons (5,678 liters), roughly one year of use. Replace the LR-FB10 cartridge when you notice a drop in flow or water quality, since filter life depends on gallon usage and incoming water quality.
