There are NO SHOWER FILTERS that can remove fluorides or lower TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). You will need a whole-house reverse osmosis filter for this. Small shower filters also cannot substitute for large water softeners. Shower filters are best for customers who want cleaner-feeling shower water, reduced chlorine odor, and better skin and hair comfort.
