With dual stage filtration, the first stage acts as a pre-filter, extending the life of the second stage. This pre-filter is equipped with a 5-micron sediment filter that contains KDF & GAC, effectively removing heavy sediments, chlorine, bad taste, and odor. The second stage filter, a 0.5-micron carbon block cartridge, protects against lead, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), cysts, giardia, & other contaminants. Everything you need is included with this camper water filter: (2) filter canisters, (1) built-in stand with rubber feet, (1) 4' RV fresh water hose, (1) canister wrench, (1) replaceable premium spun polypropylene 5-micron sediment GAC/KDF cartridge (Camco item 40637), and (1) replaceable premium 0.5-micron carbon block cartridge (Camco item 40638). Setup is a breeze with the nickel-plated brass male fitting and swiveling female fitting— they allow for easy connection between your water source & your RV's freshwater connections. The stand, made of powder-coated steel for durability, can be mounted or staked for additional security (stakes and mounting hardware are not included).
