• ✅GRANULAR CARBON, NOT A PRESSED BLOCK – Granular activated carbon fills the cartridge as loose media rather than a solid wall, which puts more carbon surface in contact with the water and lets it pass with less pressure drop than a block. On an RV line that matters, because campground pressure is often low to begin with. It reduces the chlorine taste and odor that come through the hose.

• ✅FITS THIS HOUSING – Sized for the EVO RV water filter housing, sold as 40631 and 40630, and it covers all three cartridge positions: 40620, 40621 and 40624. Those three differ from the factory. The 40621 pairs granular carbon with a KDF bed behind a spun shell and the 40624 is a premium carbon. This is granular carbon without the KDF, so match the media to what you need. It does not fit the Evo X2 or X3, which take 40638.
• ✅MATCH THE FILTER TO YOUR WATER – Cartridges are maintenance parts, not water treatment plans, and no single one handles everything. Carbon reduces chlorine taste and odor.
