Choose style: Media
⭐ Key Features
•YOU CHOOSE THE MEDIA - An empty cartridge that fits a standard 10 by 2.5 inch housing, so you fill it with whatever your water needs rather than buying whatever a manufacturer pre-packed. DI resin, mixed bed, carbon, KDF, calcite or anything else that suits the job.
•TWIST CAP, NO TOOLS - The cap unscrews by hand, so refilling takes a minute at the sink with no housing wrench and nothing to lever off. That matters on a cartridge you are meant to open repeatedly rather than throw away.
•CLEAR BODY, SO YOU CAN SEE THE MEDIA - The cartridge is translucent, which means you can watch colour changing resin shift as it exhausts instead of guessing. On a mixed bed DI that is the difference between changing on time and changing on a calendar.
•AQUARIUM, HYDROPONICS OR RO - Standard 10 by 2.5 inch size fits reef and RODI systems, hydroponic nutrient water, under sink and whole house housings, and any other standard slim line housing. It is the cartridge, not the housing; it goes inside the one you already have.
•SHIPS EMPTY - There is no media in the box. That is the point: you supply it, refill it, and keep the cartridge instead of replacing it every few months. Compatible with standard 10 by 2.5 inch housings, made by CFS.

📋 Product Description
This is an empty refillable cartridge for a standard 10 by 2.5 inch filter housing. It ships as a shell with no media inside, and that is the point of it: the cap unscrews so you fill it with whatever your application calls for, reseal it, and put it in the housing. Deionizing resin is the usual choice. On an RO system a DI stage after the membrane takes the reading the rest of the way down, and reef aquarium owners run the same arrangement chasing a zero TDS number for a mixed reef tank. The same shell also takes granular activated carbon, KDF media, or a blend if you are building a custom stage, so one cartridge body covers several different jobs across its life. Buying media by the bag and refilling costs a fraction of a new sealed cartridge each time, and it keeps a lot of plastic out of the bin. Rinse the shell between fills and check that the O-ring seats cleanly before it goes back in, since a tired seal is what most housing weeps turn out to be. Check the size before ordering. This is the slim line 10 by 2.5 inch cartridge used in under sink RO systems, aquarium RO/DI units and countertop housings, not the 10 by 4.5 inch big blue size. The two look similar in a photograph and are not interchangeable. How long a fill lasts depends entirely on the media you use and the water you run through it, so a TDS meter tells you far more than the calendar does. A rising reading at the outlet means it is time to refill. Complete Filtration Services has built and supplied replacement filtration since 2006.
