Description
The Pentair Pentek 158008 is a Traditional Slim Line filter housing built for low-flow filtration where space and visibility matter. It holds a single standard Slim Line cartridge that reduces sediment and particles for cleaner water, making it well suited to under-sink and countertop use, RV water systems, foodservice, and pre- or post-reverse-osmosis filtration.
The clear Styrene Acrylonitrile (SAN) sump lets you watch flow and cartridge condition so you know when it is time for a change, while the reinforced polypropylene cap and EPDM o-ring deliver a leak-proof seal. Four bosses are molded into the cap for mounting. This version has 3/8" NPT ports and no pressure-relief button.
The housing accepts standard 2.5" diameter, 10-inch (#10) Slim Line cartridges and is rated for 40 to 125 degrees F at up to 125 psi. Cartridge, filter wrench, and mounting bracket are sold separately. Protect the housing against freezing to prevent cracking and leakage.
