• 1 MICRON DEPTH SEDIMENT FILTRATION – Spun wound polypropylene depth media captures fine sediment throughout the cartridge, helping reduce rust, sand, silt, dirt, and scale commonly present in well water and municipal water systems.
• FINE SEDIMENT POLISHING DESIGN – The graded density structure traps larger particles on the outer layers while finer particles are captured deeper inside, making 1 micron filtration ideal for sediment polishing ahead of downstream filters.
• SERVICE LIFE VARIES BY WATER CONDITIONS – Replacement frequency depends on sediment levels, water quality, and micron rating; finer filters capture smaller particles more quickly, so monitoring flow or pressure changes helps determine when cartridge replacement is needed.
• FINE SEDIMENT PROTECTION FOR WHOLE HOUSE SYSTEMS – Commonly used as a polishing-stage or secondary sediment filter, or as a first-stage filter only in low-sediment water conditions, to help protect plumbing, appliances, water softeners, and carbon filters from fine particulate buildup.
