AMI calcite filter cartridges are filled with 100% calcite media to naturally remineralize acidic drinking waters, raising the pH and alkalinity to a non-corrosive equilibrium. Calcite, a naturally occurring mineral, is self-limiting - dissolving only enough to increase the water's alkalinity to reach a non-aggressive, non-corrosive level. AMI calcite mineral cartridges are designed to fit standard filter housings for ease of compatibility. AMI calcite filters are an ideal reverse osmosis post-treatment – to remineralize RO water.
H-F4210CALCITE is 4.5” Diameter x 10” length and fits inside of a #10 (10-inch) filter housing (the outside dimensions of these housings are approximately 7.5" OD x 12" H).
