The Pentair Pentek ChlorPlus 10 is a 10-inch carbon block water filter cartridge engineered for chloramine and chlorine taste and odor reduction. It uses advanced bonded powdered activated carbon (PAC) technology to achieve 1 micron nominal filtration, capturing fine sediment while reducing chlorine and chloramine from your water supply. The ChlorPlus 10 delivers chlorine reduction capacity of over 100,000 gallons at 1 GPM and chloramine reduction capacity of 2,000 gallons at 0.5 GPM or 800 gallons at 1 GPM. The solid carbon block construction eliminates the carbon fines and channeling that can occur with granulated carbon filters. Polyolefin inner and outer wraps with polyethylene netting provide structural support, and Santoprene gaskets ensure a proper seal. This cartridge measures 2.88" x 9.75" and fits all standard 10-inch filter housings that accept 2.5-inch diameter cartridges. It is suitable for under-sink and point-of-use water filtration applications. Replace every year or when you notice a drop in water pressure or water quality. Operating temperature range is 40-100 degrees F.
