The Pentair Pentek 158007 is a Traditional Slim Line filter housing built for low-flow filtration where space and visibility matter. It holds a single standard Slim Line cartridge that reduces sediment and particles for cleaner water, making it well suited to under-sink and countertop use, RV water systems, foodservice, and pre- or post-reverse-osmosis filtration. The clear Styrene Acrylonitrile (SAN) sump lets you watch flow and cartridge condition so you know when to change the cartridge, while an inlet-side pressure-relief button lets you release internal pressure first. The reinforced polypropylene cap and EPDM o-ring deliver a leak-proof seal, and four bosses are molded into the cap for mounting. This version has 3/8" NPT ports and is the pressure-relief companion to the 158008. The housing accepts standard 2.5" diameter, 10-inch (#10) Slim Line cartridges and is rated for 40 to 125 degrees F at up to 125 psi, with a low 2 psi pressure drop at 5 gpm. Cartridge, filter wrench, and mounting bracket are sold separately. Protect against freezing to prevent cracking and leakage.
