Description
The Pentair Pentek 158005 is a Traditional Slim Line filter housing built for low-flow filtration where chemical compatibility and durability matter. It holds a single standard Slim Line cartridge that reduces sediment and particles for cleaner water, making it well suited to under-sink and countertop use, RV water systems, foodservice, and pre- or post-reverse-osmosis filtration.
The opaque sump is molded from rugged reinforced polypropylene for outstanding chemical compatibility, and an inlet-side pressure-relief button lets you release internal pressure before changing the cartridge. The reinforced polypropylene cap and EPDM o-ring provide a leak-proof seal, and four bosses are molded into the cap for mounting. This model has 3/8" NPT ports.
This housing is Tested and Certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material and structural integrity. It accepts standard 2.5" diameter, 10-inch (#10) Slim Line cartridges and is rated for 40 to 125 degrees F at up to 125 psi. Cartridge, filter wrench, and mounting bracket are sold separately.
