The Pentair Pentek PCF1-20MB is a mixed bed deionization cartridge built with semiconductor-grade DI resins and engineered for applications where water purity is non-negotiable. With the ability to deionize water up to 16 megohms resistivity and a 600-grain capacity rated at 38,800 mg TDS as CaCO3, this cartridge delivers consistent high-purity output across its full service life. The resin undergoes additional post-production processing to achieve low total organic carbon (TOC) levels, making it suitable for pharmaceutical production, medical laboratories, cosmetics manufacturing, and circuit board printing.Constructed with polypropylene endcaps, shell, pre-filter, and post-filter along with Buna-N gaskets, the PCF1-20MB is compatible with a wide range of water chemistries. It fits any standard 20" x 2.5" housing for straightforward installation and replacement. The cartridge operates at a suggested flow rate of 0.50 gpm with a pressure drop of just 3.4 psi, within a temperature range of 40-100 degrees F. Additional applications include steam generation, humidification systems, cooling towers, boiler makeup water, and laser equipment cooling.
