The Pentair Pentek IC-101L is a disposable in-line water filter cartridge from the Traditional In-Line Filter Series, designed to reduce unwanted taste, odor, and chlorine taste and odor from drinking water. It uses 17 cubic inches of water-washed coconut shell granular activated carbon (GAC) to deliver crisp, better-tasting water for drinking, ice makers, coffee, and other beverages. Each cartridge has a durable, injection-formed polypropylene body and cap and includes an integrated pre-filter and post-filter, so it will not impart taste, odor, or color to your water. The IC-101L measures 2 by 10.5 inches (51 mm x 270 mm), comes with standard 1/4" NPT threaded connections, and is rated to a maximum operating pressure of 125 psi and a maximum temperature of 100 degrees F. It is Tested and Certified by NSF International. Compact and easy to install in-line, the IC-101L is an ideal choice for post-RO polishing, under-sink, ice-maker, and food service applications. It provides an estimated 2500 gallons of service life at a 0.75 gpm flow rate. Replace the cartridge when you notice a drop in water flow or the return of taste and odor.
