Description
The Pentair Pentek WPX100BB20P is a 20-inch Big Blue string-wound sediment water filter cartridge designed for whole house, commercial, and industrial water filtration. Made from fibrillated polypropylene fiber cord precisely wound around a polypropylene core, this 100-micron nominal filter reduces dirt, sand, silt, rust, and scale particulates from your water supply. The polypropylene construction will not impart taste, odor, or color to filtered water. The WPX100BB20P provides high flow rates with minimal pressure drop, rated at less than 8 PSI at 65 GPM. The cartridge is both chemical resistant and bacteria resistant, making it suitable for a range of industrial fluid filtration applications. Unlike some string-wound filters, the WPX100BB20P does not contain an anti-static agent, making it the recommended choice for applications where foaming during startup is a concern. This cartridge measures 4.5" x 20" and fits all standard 20-inch Big Blue filter housings that accept 4.5-inch diameter cartridges. Operating temperature range is 40-165 degrees F. Replace when you notice a decrease in water pressure or a change in water quality.
