Pentair Pentek NCP-10 cartridges are built from a carbon-impregnated non-cellulose media that offers sediment filtration plus taste, odor, and chlorine taste and odor reduction in one cartridge, for cleaner, better-tasting water. Unlike cellulose cartridges, NCP cartridges can be used for both municipal and non-chlorinated water applications. The pleats provide additional surface area for high dirt-loading capacity while maintaining minimal pressure drop of just 2 psi at 3 gpm. This combination of pleated polyester media and carbon filtration produces an outstanding cartridge with extended service life. The media carries a nominal 10 micron rating, uses a polypropylene core, and is rated for 40 to 125 degrees F. NCP cartridges are excellent polishing filters and are ideal for post reverse osmosis and well water applications. This 10" x 2.5" cartridge fits standard 10-inch housings and is a straightforward replacement for any 10" x 2.5" carbon or sediment cartridge. It reduces chlorine taste and odor for up to 225 gallons at 1 gpm.
