Product Description The 3M Aqua-Pure Whole House Replacement Water Filter Drop-in Cartridge AP811 has filter capacity that is ideal for homes with three or more bathrooms. This filter cartridge provides sediment filtration, and its grooved design increases total surface area, which can lead to longer cartridge life. This is a filter cartridge for a whole house water filter system, which helps protect pipes and appliances from sediment. From the Manufacturer The 3M™ Aqua-Pure® Water Filter Cartridge AP811 helps to reduce sediment particles as small as 25 microns in size, as well as rust, providing clearer water for drinking, bathing, laundry, and other household uses. 3M’s exclusive Micro-KleanTM XL progressive porosity technology forces water through pores that become increasingly tighter, filtering smaller and smaller microscopic particles. The unique process allows the cartridge to effectively reduce sediment while providing a high flow rate. The cartridge lasts up to six months before replacement. The cartridge is manufactured by 3M Purification Inc. (3MPITM), formerly CUNO Incorporated. It has a flow rate of up to 20 gallons/76 liters per minute. It operates at temperatures from 40-100°F (4.4-37.8°C) and water pressures from 25-125psi (172-862 kPa). It is for use with whole-house water filtration systems AP801, AP801-C, AP801T-C and AP801-1.5-C. The cartridge should be replaced every six months, or sooner if a noticeable reduction in flow rate occurs.
