This set includes two powerful Claryum® filters that combine activated and catalytic carbon with ion-exchange, sub-micron filtration, and an organic adsorbent booster for premium, highly effective water filtration. A 5 micron pre-filter is also included to capture rust, sediment, and silt. These replacement filters now feature even better contaminant reduction. Aquasana's Claryum® filtration technology is tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 (includes P473), and 401, for the reduction of 99.995% of Cysts, 99.6% of microplastics and lead, 99.7% of PFAS Forever Chemicals (specifically PFOA/PFOS), 97.3% of chlorine, and 91% of chloramines. The PFOA/PFOS results are tested down to 20 parts per trillion (PPT) per NSF’s new, even more stringent testing protocol.
