It reduces sediment, lead, total dissolved solids, chlorine taste and odor, and arsenic (pentavalent), and is NSF/ANSI Standard 58 certified to reduce cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia by mechanical means. The complete system includes everything you need to get started: an RS14 polyspun sediment pre-filter, a CB1 carbon block cartridge, an OM1 reverse osmosis membrane and an R200 inline carbon cartridge, along with filter housings attached to a mounting bracket, a 2.8 gallon storage tank, a lead-free chrome drinking water faucet, color-coded tubing, wrenches, an installation kit and a TDS test kit. It mounts under the sink and connects to your cold water line, and the storage tank keeps filtered water ready for your glass, coffee maker, refrigerator or ice maker. With a 15 gallon per day output, the RO2050 delivers steady filtered water for everyday use. Replace the RS14 sediment and CB1 carbon stages when you notice a drop in water flow or water quality, and use the included TDS test kit to keep tabs on filtered water quality over time.
